Rachelle Courtney is a voice educator, adjudicator, and award-winning jazz singer based in London, Ontario. She is the owner of The Voice Studio London, where she has spent nearly twenty years helping singers develop confident, versatile voices across contemporary commercial music, jazz, musical theatre, and classical styles. She is passionate about helping performers combine strong vocal technique with authentic artistic expression. Her students have earned honours and scholarships through conservatory examinations and music festivals, gained admission to leading post-secondary music and theatre programs, and gone on to perform professionally with Stratford Festival, The Grand Theatre, Neptune Theatre, and Drayton Entertainment.

Rachelle holds a Master of Music in Music Education from Western University, a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from Thompson Rivers University, a Diploma of Music with Honours in Vocal Jazz Performance from Humber College, and a Diploma of Musical Theatre Performance from Randolph College for the Performing Arts.

An active performer, Rachelle has appeared at venues including The Rex Hotel Jazz & Blues Bar and the Toronto Jazz Festival, performed internationally with Holland America Line and Celebrity Cruises, collaborated on recording projects with Canadian artists, and continues to perform throughout Southwestern Ontario. She was recently recognized as Jazz Vocalist of the Year at the Forest City London Music Awards.

Rachelle enjoys working with singers of all ages and experience levels and believes every performer has a unique artistic voice to discover, develop, and celebrate. As an adjudicator, she strives to create a positive, encouraging environment while offering practical, constructive feedback that supports continued musical growth.

She serves on the Conservatory Canada Advisory Committee, contributing to the development of the Contemporary Voice Syllabus, is a Director-at-Large with the National Association of Teachers of Singing, and regularly adjudicates and presents workshops for music festivals and educational organizations across Ontario.
