Jacinta Mackey Graham is a passionate and dedicated music educator from Newfoundland and Labrador. She holds a Bachelor of Music/ Music Education with a major in vocal studies from Memorial University of Newfoundland as well as a Masters degree in Theatre from Eastern Michigan University.

Jacinta has extensive experience in coaching and mentoring musical theatre performers in high school and community theatre settings as well as in private studio work.

As co-artistic director of Atlantic Light Theatre she has had the pleasure of directing many of the finest performers in Newfoundland in such productions as Les Miserables, Spamalot, Sister Act, Billy Elliot, Guys and Dolls, 9 to 5 the Musical, Damn Yankees and Wonderful Town. Her choral ensembles have competed nationally and have performed in New York City, Rome and Ireland. Her students have gone on to successful careers on Broadway, Stratford, Shaw, Drayton and Charlottetown Festivals as well as careers in Europe.

Jacinta was the recipient of the NL Hall of Honour Award for her significant contribution to Musical Arts in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Jacinta is simply delighted to have the opportunity to work with up and coming Musical Theatre artists at the Oakville Vocal Arts Festival!
